Didi Stone x Satin Royal
"I am truly honoured to be the face of the new Satin Royal," expressed DRC’s own Didi Stone, who splits her time between Paris and Kinshasa.
Didi Stone’s widespread appeal stems from the dichotomy between her local African roots and global lifestyle. This made her the natural choice for Satin Royal’s introduction to the world, Vlisco’s new product launched at the end of 2023.
Through several activities, Didi Stone visited the official brand traders on rue du Commerce in Le Plateau district of Abidjan; an amazing opportunity to meet the women, the brand’s first ambassadors to Abidjan customers.
This meet and greet was followed by an exhibition and the introduction of the different textiles from the new “Satin Royal” collection in the Cécile Fakhoury gallery. It is in a sophisticated and refined setting that the brand wanted to reintroduce itself to its guests: officials of the Ivorian Republic, contemporary artists, designers, cultural tastemakers, the fashion elite and international press, the majority of whom came from the West Africa region, Europe and the United States.
